Access for London

Access for London was 104’s 2022 project on the history of accessibility on London’s transport network backed by the National Heritage Lottery Fund. We worked with Transport for London, The London Transport Museum, London Metropolitan Archives and Treloars College to create a self-guided tour app, heritage boards for display at TFL tube stations, a documentary and website all related to the history of disability and transport in London.

Young disabled people worked with 104 films to create all of these plus record oral histories relating the personal histories of disabled passengers.
