104 films have raised over £2m in funding for our award-winning community projects since we were established in 2004.

Current Project

104 Films are running a huge 500k project that reaches out to new film-makers nationwide.

The Void Project (2008)
Groundbreaking website and film project on disability and the holocaust.

Funders: Big Media Box.

Special People Training Programme (2007)
Training programme for young disabled people running alongside an actual feature film production.

Funders: Ragdoll Foundation, Grantham Yorke Trust, Screen West Midlands.


Diz Life (2006 - 2007)

Follow up to Dis Life comprising four short films made in collaboration with black and minority ethnic young people with learning disabilities.

Funders: Skillset Equal AVE DP partnership, First Light, Screen West Midlands.


Big Screen Science (2006)

Big Screen Science (2006) Science-themed short film with young people from Frogmore Community College.

Funders: The Wellcome Trust / First Light


Dis Life (2004 - 2005)

Multi award-winning project comprising five short films made in collaboration with five different groups of disabled children.

Funders: First Light, Ragdoll Foundation, Elmley Foundation, Grantham Yorke Trust, BRMB Cash For Kids, Child Brian Injury Trust
