This is a post-production supervisor training programme aimed at disabled people working in post-related activity who want to turbo charge their careers and step up into the role of post-production supervisor.
These programmes are supported by ScreenSkills using National Lottery funds awarded by the BFI as part of the Future Film Skills programme.
Who it’s for
We especially want to encourage applications from those with non-visible disabilities – mental health issues like stress, depression or anxiety, autism, dyslexia and the hard of hearing as it’s a role which can suit home working.
What it covers
Participants will get a comprehensive overview of the role and post-production processes, hearing from an editor, colourist, sound engineer and others. We expect participants to create important industry links to move their careers forward.
Previous courses have included sessions with the editors Justine Wright (The Iron Lady) and Chris Wyatt (Gods Own Country), Netflix, Lexhag and Digital Orchard.
This is not a programme for new entrants and applicants will be expected to have some industry experience and must identify as disabled under the Equality Act 2010.
This is a free course, but competition will be fierce as only 10 places are available.
